  • Maguire for the title

Maguire showed his form we all know from 2004. He is now top class and Higgins is hanging on the ropes. John responded with an incredible clearance but Maguire kept his cool.

Furthermore, there was a pile up from forum members this evening. Must have met around a dozen tonight. Except Lagermike!!!!!

    Wish I was there Paul!!

I might get so pished though, that I perhaps wouldn't make the Smurf-Selby sesson!

In the Riverside, we turned up a few eyebrows when, at closing time, 12 o'clock, we got in some reserves for the two of us, 4 pints of lager & 8 bottles of strongbow (top's off - yes please barman, we are not joking!) Haha. Last Saturday morning's session was a bit bleary!!!

I am all for it! Best snooker from him this tournament so it would be well deserved. I am really impressed by him keeping his cool, the long potting (I like that gawomp sound these balls make), positional play and the approach to the shots (the drill thing?). Hope he can continue on this level to finish off things...

      GO STEPHEN

but.... Selby will just have to be runner up!

      GO MARK

It all came to a climax when Lagermike entered Sheffield on saturday. We stumbled out of a bar and it was already daylight. I wont tell what happened before that. He has to tell it himself!
