Was I in a coma during this tournament:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_M...2007_(snooker)

I don't ever recall hearing anything about it. No results on Global snooker. A quick search on here didn't dig anything up. Did anyone know of/watch this event? I'm half wondering if it's made up...

Not everything you read on wikpedia is accurate, & i would say that on this occasion this is one of them.

It must be bullsh*t, because the 2007 Welsh Open was taking place from 12-18 Feb 2007 and Stephen Hendry is no Hiro Nakamura:

I think it is very dubious. I have no recollection of it.

For example the final shows Higgins 9 - 7 Hendry.
However, total points below this shows Higgins 416 Points scored 532 Hendry. Not totally unusual to have the loser scorer higher points, but I can't believe that in 16 frames of snooker Higgins averaged 26 points. Even if he scored zero in all frames he lost, that would still only be an average of 46 points. Add to that the Welsh Open at same time and it does seem very suspect!

Never happened...and with King involved, i am sure The Boss would have said something at the moment.
