I just hope the rish Open will be back next season. It's a shame Ireland didn't have any major tournaments. Ditto for Scotland by the way...

Couldn't agree more Erwan; every continent's the aim eh. France even! (not that it's a continent like). It'd be great if the WSA published more of it's future plans, it always seems like things are right upon us before we find out anything about anything. What firm does their PR?

I hope also that we'll have Pot Black again.
It's a great pleasure for me to watch the very best players in this sport playing for pleasure - it's very entertaining!

The season had already started by the time they announced the Malta Cup last season, so it might be that the WSA don't know themselves until the last minute.

That said, I've heard rumours that the UK will be in Brighton this year (definitely won't be in the Barbican as that's apparently unavailable) and that the Grand Prix will be somewhere in Scotland. Irish Masters and British Open are rumoured to be coming back too. Other than that, I'm just hoping for as many tournaments as possible.

The Home Internationals are a yearly amateur Nations' Cup type thing, there's a bit about them here http://www.globalsnookercentre.co.uk...2HIhistory.htm . I don't think they'll be televised so unless you live near Pontins it's probably nothing to get too excited about.
