I think World Snooker is not going to tell anyone who is playing against who until 24 hours before the action starts.
Apparently they are very happy with that random thing they did in the Grand Prix last season, and most snooker fans were very pleased with such an exciting novelty, so the WSA is probably going to do the same for their other tournaments this season.
All the players I've spoken to recently are going to play in the first Pro Challenge event.
The only one who definitely won't be playing is Adrian Gunnell who's still recovering from his bout of Swine Flu.
Stuart Bingham, Judd Trump, Dave Harold, Michael White, Fergal O'Brien, Sam Baird, Andrew Norman, Jamie Cope, Jimmy White, Tony Drago are amongst those who have entered.
the only ones likely to miss it are some of the top players, maybe overseas players and any player who had a prior commitment like exhibition or holiday or something.
For most it's a very good warm up ahead of the Shanghai qualifiers.
WSA tell me we should get the draw by Friday... which Friday they didn't say!
