That's a good win for ken, especially as Joe has been in pretty good nick of late..

                    Mathew Selt 1-4 Alan Mcmanus
                    Andrew Norman 0-4 Ken Doherty
                    Ben Woollaston 4-1 Ricky Walden
                    Stephen Maguire 4-3 Dave Harold

                    Semi Finals Draw

                    10am

                    SF1 – Alan Mcmanus v Ken Doherty
                    SF2 – Ben Woollaston v Stephen Maguire

earlier i posted that Joyce beat Mcmanus but that was a error at Globalsnooker.com's part... Mcmanus plays Doherty in Repeat of Ranking Finals of the early 90s in the Semi Final here after Beating Selt 4-1

As usual, here is my report from today.

Was great to see Ken playing well again. Hope he can sustain it in the ranking events though...

yes let's hope so...still this could be just the springboard he needs to reignite himself playing in these kind of events..

Wish I could be there watching the first semifinal, McManus v Doherty! I don't even know whom I want to win more Could be a good match. Have to rely on Global snooker website for results...

Ken for me but i have nothing against McManus. On paper it should be a very close match, but as long as both players play well you cant really ask for more..

thing is no carear pressure on this event for ken ...

next week he is starting at the shanghai masters as Provisional no 55 knowing he has to play well or he is history..

it makes the world of difference.
