i would say the sole reason they are showing the king match is because he is managed by 110 sport, I would much rather they picked the matches based on appeal as well but it seems they would rather show their own players than choose the match that is going to get the most people watching

Why, why oh WHY can't live scoring just not frigging work properly????. All week I have watched it, including this morning and it's okay but the minute you actually WANT to follow a match it goes wonky. I completely hate the WSA.

Looking at the draw would require too much action from me right now. If more qualifying rounds are to be streamed, though, it's bound to happen that one of the chosen matches would be between players lets say ranked #62 and #43, isn't it? Or any for the matter? (Come on we are talking about the state of snooker constantly and its lack of sponsors, I don't think my question is that outrageous.)
Now, I mean no offence to those players and I'm sure I'll be frowned upon by the die-hard fans such as wild. However, from a purely viewing figures point of view, how many viewers will these players attract at this price?
I would have thought that the point of this internet streaming would be to entice a larger audience than the core fan base.

Would do I know, though? Perhaps Jimmy White fans would be enough to make this profitable. I can wait for my Eurosport in the meantime.
Does anyone here have an experience with internet streaming of other sports and the corresponding prices?

ive said all along the price is 2 high for the majority of matchups we will get....

they showed Rory Mclead vs Patrick Wallave Live on 110 sport ....with respect hardly going to get many viewers if any at £2.99 per session.

I know similar has been said before (I was bothered to read it all lol) but i wont pay 2.99 to be tied down to a specific time watching a specific match in the qualifiers...

However.. I would seriously consider say 10 pound a tournament or 50 pound a year to be able to switch on while I am doing other things and watch the snooker.

I think this snooker 'foul' problem deserves a thread of it's own! That way it would get noticed easier by our forum referees and clarified to everyone.
