Mark Davis through to the final with a 5-3 win over Mark King!!!
I really like Davis because he shows that even though you are a journeyman you don't give up I hope he wins! I also like him because we have the same birthday (12 August)#Age: 22 HB#: 82 #Cue: Mike Wooldridge Vintage Cue # Tip: Mike Wooldridge BlackSpin #Best performance in tournament: Semi-final in an "open to all" Swedish tournament 2015, Swedish U16 tournament champion October 2007 #Current rank in Sweden: 15

Hi everyone, thanks for your kind comments for wishing me well on here too.
As you will have read, I got to the last 64, where my initial aim was to qualify. Not bad I think considering I only picked up a cue again a couple of months ago after only playing twice in the last 14 years, including not having hit a ball for 8 years.
Let me also say that this tournament is being very well run. The people behind the scenes are putting in a lot of hours & plenty of hard work. If it wasn't for them good people, the tournament wouldn't be happening. These guy's are 'unsung hero's' in my book. They do a top job.
The tables were very good, tight pockets & the cloths are lovely & the spectators that I talked too & listened too really enjoyed themselves, which I was pleased to hear.
Yes, 6 Reds is different, a lot more intense let me add, because straight away you are at the business end of a frame, on 3 occasions that I broke off, 3 times I lost the frame, once to Ken & twice to Mark Williams. I did practice the break, but obviously for not long enough as I changed my break after my first 2 matches. That said, no excuses, I wasn't good enough, but I tried.
Keep Smiling & Thanks again,
