Does anybody know if the ONEFOURSEVEN tournament is going to be televised at all?

There will be cameras there for the pilot but it will not be televised at this stage. But look towards the future, if it takes off then it will be.

I think it's a great innovation. This, the 6 reds world championships, and hopefully more rankign events next season. Hopefully its the start of another global rise in popularity for the game.

yeah, check the link in my original post (click ONEFOURSEVEN), takes you to the Global Snooker site, which explains all about it. It's a new format. Very interesting.

I think they should stream it, should be fairly easy via Ustream, and gives us a chance to see what it's like.

Yeah Global Snooker are promoting it, so maybe they should stream it for free. Get as much exposure as they can.

It may be televised in the future, but if the athmosphere hopefully lives up to the hype, watching it in front of TV will not reflect the real enjoyment..

At the recent UK League Snooker Tournament in Manchester, our side all had a beer at the hotel before making our way to the venue. When we got there we had another, then found that we had an hour to wait before our first match and ended up having 3 or 4 beers by the time we played our first match. We won 3-2 LOL
