  • 2010 - Champions League Snooker - Winners' Group

So it's Allen, Maguire, Robertson & Fu who qualified for the final stage.

Higgins is probably going to be in PL anyway as world no.1, so not that much of a surprise he's out.
And Cope as a fresh group 7 winner would have seemed to have a fresh CL play practice advantage, but didn't make use of that in winner's group at all..

    Maguire seems to be focussed.

If Fu was to win, would Ding still be invited to PL?

It's nice to see Mark Allen playing well(ish!) I'd like to see him in the PL and think he'd do well there...

I don't think they'll invite both Ding and Fu so we'll just have to see I guess As for me, I think I'd prefer to see Ding in the PL next year He scored a 139 total clearance in the first frame of live snooker i've ever seen!

      Allen day-dreaming?
Robbo showing his curls again, why is he hiding them in rankers
Trump with some beard; this looks more cute than more loads of gel in his hair.
Fu a little stunned Maguire winning 3-0 already, or just in his usual straight straight up pose.

Mark Allen 2-1 up against Neil Robertson

but Fu has beaten Mags 3-0!

EDIT: great play from Allen in the ffd, he plays Fu for the PL place

Hm so is Ding about to lose his place in PL?

I think commentary mentioned that Ding had check-out of his hotel before CL group 7 play-offs, so what - did he not intend to win it either way, with expectation to get an invitation to PL?

Ding will be there on merit as UK Champion I imagine. I'd hope so anyway.

At last a chance to put a face to the voice of Michael McMullen, who looks uncannily like Steve Coogan and could easily be a DJ on Radio Norwich in this picture: http://www.mediacontact.ie/files/news/image-146.jpg

Congrats to Ding. Robertson looks really strange with his hair like that.
