With Reanne being awarded a wildcard for 2010/11 has anybody any thoughts on where or how many other wildcards will go?

I'm not too sure, but if he is I think the chances are they will give him one. Same with John Parrott, but apparently he has retired?

Jimmy is still on the tour, they won't give it to John Parrott because he dropped off the tour and retired.

will be at least one more - I assume Luca Brecel is still not old enough otherwise he would get it.

otherwise if someone like Ant McGill doesn't finish top 8 of PIOS he would be in mix although I suspect Tian Pengfei is the front runner

I actually don't know who is on the tour and who isn't. They will probably give it too a biggish name that has just dropped of the tour.

If Higgins and JP both drop out, Simon Bedford moves into the top 64 and Xiao Guodong gets the 8th "1-year ranking" slot.

Jamie Cope (17th), Mike Dunn (33rd) and Ian McCulloch (49th) could all move into a higher block of 16 in the rankings.

I just hope they take the 8 from the PIOS excluding those already qualified - as all those players have certainly been through the mill!!
