Did I read right - Patrick Einsle has got a wildcard?? Forgive me if I'm wrong but and I like Patrick but - Last 16 Europeans, Last 32 European playoffs, 23rd on PIOS / How does that justify a wildcard? And didn't he get one in a previous season?

And I hope if Shawn does not take the place they nominate Vinnie!! Wonder how many are not taking the place due to financial restraints - it really is going to be an expensive season!!

It's expensive because there's so many events but the earning potential, particularly for new and lower ranked players has never been better.
Only got to win one match in PTC to be on £200.

I agree Janie - for English players the PTC in England if they win that match will cover their costs which makes a change.

Win one match to win £200. Basically that just covers your outlay. £100 entry. For a lot of players £50-£100 petrol. £50 B&B 1 night. Nice money if you can win more that one match!!

there is this thought snooker players and sportsmen in general has to have a steady income i do not subscribe to that at all if you want a steady income go to tescos etc to look for work.

if you want to make it as a pro player you got to earn it the hard way or get out.

                                nobody forcing anyone to play..
