Both very entertaining matches tonight. Firstly the 4-2 scoreline flatters Ronnie. Steve should have won the 2nd frame but had two pieces of bad luck the first he had a terrible kick the second he went in off when clearing up the colours. However a very funny incident occured in that frame. Davis had to call a timeout because people walked straight past his shot and then one of them fell off their chair as they sat down.
Another set of kicks cost Steve the next couple even though Ronnie missed some very uncharacteristic shots. Overall it should have been 3-3.
In the second match Ding played fantastic to take the first 3 frames before Dott hit a timely centuary. Ding won the next after a couple of poor safety shots from Dott. Last frame was brilliant. Ding make a 50+ break before letting Dott in. Dott missed a tricky red to let Ding back in after a 30 odd break. Ding then missed a simple black leaving Dott to clear the table.

Great night in all sadly I didn't get to meet the legend, Graeme Dott.

If Ding made a 50+ break and a 30 odd break in the last game. Shouldnt the game be over? 50+30=80. What did Dott clear up for?

Yay Back to winning again, did Dott moan again?
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

Can you confirm, O'Sullivan and Ding both won 4-2, and what was the highest break?

GSC isn't showing the result yet.

            Cheers

Yes. They were both 4-2. Highest break is Ronnie's 108. Dott made a 107 as well. According to Sky, that is.

Ronnie got a break of 108, but I think Ding got a century too, might be better than that. Sorry, can't find any frame results anywhere.

edit: oh well, it was Dott who got a century

                  Yes they are the results.

The highest break was 108 for Ronnie, he was on for a 147 for quite a way. Dott came one behind with a 107 break.
