Well, seeing as though this is not a WSA official tournament, i guess this is one tournament enrty the fabulous Ding will not get handed on a plate! He has been given a free ride in snooker so far and has not payed his dues.

I believe....all the other tournaments won by ALL the players would not be considered as Mr. Ding Junhui wasnt even born to play in those . So I wonder if the WPBSA will have all the winners of the finals play Ding now so that they can actually be considered. Imagine Stephen Hendry playing him 7 times only for the world championship! Steve Davis 6 times! His remaining carrier would be gone in playing all these finals he missed!

      Cheers!!!

Don't take dingshot's comments too seriously. We all know what he's like. Ding has the important WC qualifier match to play in a few days time. I don't think he would have played in the tournament even if he had been invited.

His comments after beating Judge (needing and getting a whitewash) in the group stages were encouraging too.

"I went 2-0 up, but I basically thought it was all over when I needed two snookers," said Higgins.

"I knew what to do, I had to win 4-0, but I was under pressure. That win could be the turning point of my season."

Maybe Hawkins finally start showing some good snooker?

                            And Ronnie vs Swail 4-4?

Are those scores right, or just somewhat behind live? I only ask because I looked 10 minutes ago and Ronnie was leading 3-0, Hawkins also 3-0. Now Swail's suddenly pulled back to 4-4 in the time it's taken Hendry to claw a single frame back
