British Open in Brighton

Hurrah, have just booked tickets with a friend for the British Open at the Brighton Centre. We're thinking about staying in the hotel next door although we don't live far away. We saw a good match at last year's open between Ebdon and Stevens that went on and on...could have done with a stiff drink at a hotel bar afterwards

Apparently there's a snooker table at the hotel. Don't think we'll humiliate ourselves playing on it though, I've got a feeling there may well be some better players around

I went to the British open last year, i won tickets to the final, won't be going this year, but hopefully to the UK Champs I'll remember to get some piccies done for the site

You can take pictures without annoying the hell out of the players? You wouldn't be allowed to use flash photography right?

No you can't take pictures when the players are at the table, only when the match has finished or before it starts, or unless your part of the media

By the way Lozzy - Mark Williams is doing an exhibition at the club on 30 November - very few tickets so you'd need to be very quick.

i won't be there though - I'll be in Holland for the world champs.

if you are early enough tickets are easily got season ticket applications must be in by about jan 7th and you can pick up tickets for single games after that
