The pressure on the players for this years world championships is massive, and for many players this could be the end of the road for them as full time players , cutting the tour by so many players is going to leave the many players who don't stay on the main tour wondering if its worth carrying on playing with the chances being so slim to get back on I can see lots calling it a day.
The points are so much more than any other event that it is bound to shuffle the rankings about quite a bit , it will be a very hard time for so many players .
