He must be delighted. This is what he must have been like when he started out in the qualifiers about 25 years ago as a rookie pro - winning a good deal of his matches."You can shove your snooker up your jacksie 'cos I aint playing no more!" Alex Higgins.

Got to be honest, I've never particularly liked Gray. His play is uninteresting, which is unsurprising, as he never seems to enjoy playing anyway. Maybe if he cracked a smile I'd be more endeared to him.
EDIT: Sorry David, I apologise -

it would be nice to see if he can show at some stage that he's putting up a fight in a match!

Jimmy's just experienced his first defeat of the tournament, going down 4-1 to a decent performance from Mark Davis.
The group is pretty tight now. Jimmy, Davis and the winner of Milkins-Joyce will all be on 4 wins from 5 played, and because Jimmy's had a few tight wins and one heavy defeat his frame difference isn't good. White still has to play the other Jimmy, who's yet to win but has come close a few times, and Joyce, who looks very strong in this event.

Indeed. Here's group A as it stands:
Name . . . . P/W/FD Still to play
Davis,M. . . 5 4 10 Davies, Joyce
Milkins. . . 5 4 5 Robertson, Saenla
White,J. . . 5 4 4 Joyce, Robertson
Joyce. . . . 5 3 7 Davis, White
Saenla . . . 5 2 -5 Milkins, MacKenzie
Robertson,J. 5 1 -4 Milkins, White
MacKenzie. . 5 1 -5 Davies, Saenla
Davies,A . . 5 1 -12 Davis, MacKenzie
The three group leaders have all played each other. I'd put Milkins favourite to win his two remaining matches with a few frames to spare given the form of his opponents. Joyce's matches are particularly important and he'll be looking to win both because he could still qualify himself.
Jimmy should beat Robertson. Whether he beats Joyce or not won't seal his fate either way but it'll have a big impact.
