oh well i tried lol....im on the first frame of white davis right now....its rather slow.....but it hasnt cut off as yet so that's good.....hopefully it wont so it wont burden any of you!!

is the transfer rate meant to be slow?
i have a 1mb connection at work and the rate averages out to 20+- kbps apart from when my connection cuts off!

It's the same problem that I get when I try to download large files from servers in Asia (slow / transfer being cut off). Could be a coincidence, could be that we're onto something here. And yes, the site caps the transfer rate for non-members, but I still managed to download the files in question at about 150 kB/s.

I usually get 200-250 kB/s as a non member, but also have problems with Asian servers...

I can never dream of those speeds on India. I at the moment get around 9% of that. And 9% of 150.

Just talked to him, it is his internet connection that's the problem, not the site. Would only help if one of the other sites allow download managers.

ya i too was thinking of that ...file factory doesnt allow download managers place where i live i can download only from 2 am so have to be awake till that time every day to download matches

and for speed u guys r getting...its the problem of file factory ...If many of free users are downloading simultaneously speed will reduce....they do it purposefully for commercial purpose (cant blame though)....but i dont think any of paying members there should experience this problem(Generally they reserve special bandwidth for them)

If you buy a premium account you can use, File factory Turbo. You can pause and resume the downloads. I usually get about 250-350kb/s off it so its okay. Im not sure if you can use it without a premium account but it wouldn't hurt to try.

Simply layout. 1GB file size limit. No apparent download limits. No waiting to start the next download. I'm currently downloading a file from there at 100kb/s and I'm in New Zealand with crappy broadband so it can't be that bad.
