Spoiler free - This reminds me of an episode of The Likely Lads where Bob and Terry tried to escape from every place as they did not want to hear the full time score of an England international. After they went through their ordeal the whole day, switching the tele on in the evening for the highlights, to find out the match was abandoned because of a waterlogged pitch.

Most episodes of the Likely Lads are 30, 40 years old . Though Ant and Dec did a version of said episode the other year. Ant and Dec - Acting - Say no more.

Ok. With 'spoiler' I meant score lines. There are score lines in the thread.

From the Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary:
SPOILER noun
information that you are given about what is going to happen in a film/movie, television series etc.

One last time: I was not complaining, I was simply trying to warn others who wished to remain in the dark about the scores until they could see the match for themselves. Sorry. I'll refrain from trying to do people favours in the future for the fear of upsetting other people.
