Dominic Dale has really gone downhill after his Shanghai Masters win. He lost to an unknown amateur in the 4th Pro-Am last week and has now lost convincingly to Wenbo.

Maybe Dale celebrated a bit too much and didn't get enough practice, hope this wakes him up now.

Dominic is a very good player but never struck me as the type that could be consistent throughout the season, even his form varies dramatically sometimes from one match to next... but he was great to watch in the Shanghai Masters
let's hope he can find some good form soon, i'd like to see him in the top 16 at the end of the season!!!

Shame about Ashley Wright coming so close to a win over Allen, but I would be delighted if Trump or Higginson made it all the way to Wembley. I was beginning to get worried Higgo was losing his form but on the basis of that result, (an essential 4-0 bar the forfeit) he has a decent chance of reaching the actual tournament. Could he hold his own against the world's best?

i wouldn't be surprised if he did, he proved it b4 & was cool as a cucumber in the Welsh Open earlier this year

i'd luv to see him in the big tournaments more often... either him or Trump will do nicely 4 me
