Hi there all "Black Ball" from Queensland Australia, just interested in getting some opinions about Neils performances so far this current year, It appears he is struggling to produce some of the form that won him 2 ranking tournaments last year... was this to be expected after such a brilliant year 2006/2007.....The weight of expectations maybe!!!

neil is a classy player and he will be back - i always feel the longer matches suit him better - i suspect the issue is a combination of too much WOW and a bit of bad luck.

its hard to say though eh - he is a mark williams style super potter - i think he will win again but i can't see him dominating these days the way mark did for a few years the standard is too high.

I do not see him being another Davis or Hendry this year, but I think he may be having a much bigger fan base than some of the players higher than him on the ranking. I know a lot of girls like him because of his good look, and most viewers generally like his aggreesive style and his potting. He always seem to have a smile on his face, and is very presentable and gentlemanlike. I see Neil as someone who can help to promote the game to those who do not/would not normally watch snooker. I now a few girsl who started interested in snooker because of Paul Hunter.
I think Neil Robertson has what it takes to be a Wrold Champion, he is a great player, and one of my favorite. I am just saying I think he may do more for snooker than some other player due to his charisma and charm.

I love watching the guy play.
I always worry when guys like Niel say their going to work on their safety.
He had a great time last year potting for fun and won 2 titles and showed up well in others. This year, after that work it seems to have undermined his confidence and his safety is appalling.
I think he should stick to what he does best and try to blow them off the table, there are few better sights in snooker when he is in full flow, so come on neil your never going to be a clever player, so blast them away, its magic viewing.
