If that run of 10 years Dale, 9 years Fu, 8 years O'Brien continued/s untill the World Championships then it would be Jimmy's turn (3 years). It would be the greatest thing ever if he did win it or even reached a final.
I'll wake up soon.

I would love to see that, but It will never happen.
Like the rest of you i'm sure it would be great to see Jimmy at the Crucible...this reminds me of when Alex Higgins qualified in 1994 against the odds and all the hype it caused.
Shame he lost to Ken Doherty in the first round in what was to be his last appearance but it didn't matter at least he was there....
Same for Jimmy from all the loyal fans who remember the glory years COME ON JIMMY!!!!!!!
199 World Champion John Parrott through to the final qualifying with a 10-3 victory over Gareth Coppack, JP now to play JP (Joe Perry) in the last 48 for a place at Sheffiled and Mike Dunn gets a very good 10-2 victory over andrew Norman and will face Stoke's dave Harold for a place at the Crucible.
good effort by mike dunn been working really hard this season new cue aswell hope he can get to the crucible for only the second time ever.

I don't think so. Trump is 11 months older and qualified last season. Hendry was younger still when he first played as a qualifier in 1986. There may be others too (Ronnie, Higgins possibly).
Edit: Just checked with The Statman's excellent records compendium. Hendry, Ronnie and Trump were all younger when they made their crucible debuts as qualifiers. There may be a slight complication in that I'm not sure when the qualifiers were actually played, so I know they were younger when they played as qualifiers but not necessarily that they were younger when they qualified. Anyone?
