I'm guessing a disjointed & scrappy first match; 3-3. A centurty to one of them.

Second match sees Ronnie put Ding in a cement mixer; 4-2 mash-up including 2 centuries, 85 highest break for Ding though.

I reckon Davis will beat Maguire if he plays as well as he did against Murphy. I think Ding may pull of a surprise tonight, a possible win but I fancy a draw.

Hi cueman, hope Davis has a good night, it's a good bet as Maguire keeps saying things that make you feel like he's not come to terms with last year's achievements.... just because he over-cut that black against Ronnie in the EWC first round, doesn't mean he failed the year... he's being far too self deprecating by half at the moment. (Mags lists as 50-50 and Davis is out to 11/4 against)

Ding is 9/2 against whereas Ron's 11/8 ON; not very generous when he's already qualified and may not have his match head on.

If only the Edit function works C, would have a chance at looking like a tipster; although I'm renowned for predictions on chance outcome... I once predicted 20 tosses of a coin but working on 6 numbers between 1 & 49 would be worth more!

I'd definitely have a flutter on Davis at those odds, Maguire is under pressure to win and he doesn't seem to handle the pressure too well IMO. Ronnie will probably have his match head on alright but Ding does raise his game in these premier league games so expect a cracker there.

so Davis out-scrapped and fell onto a 4-2 scoreline.... poor ole Mags head was in such a a spin that at the end of one frame he actually tried to take a hair off the black... foul 7.

Ding is already a great player. Ronnie didn't exactly play badly and he scraped a draw. I love watching Ding - he is definitely the best potter in the game right now after the sad demise of a certain Mr Williams.
