  • It starts again today!

The main question I have is who was the commentator in the Higgins/Hawkins match today, he was Irish I think and he sounded like a mix between Phil Yates and Neal Foulds!

Who are these new referees? One of them doesn't seem to be great as he just mumbles the scores...

              • Somebody know how many points will player 1 of snooker give away if he cannot pot the black and sends it off the snooker table, is it 7 or 4 points?

                  Cope vs King... on now!

Cope is, to me, the most impressive player of all so far.

                  Enjoy!

                    • Congratulations to Mark King. He had all the run of the balls in the last two frames, and Ken gave him a lot of chances.

The Boss must be happy now!

                      • Davis is getting some match practice and is playing some good snooker. Doherty hasn't been much of a opponent though. Steve leads 2-0, and amazingly Doherty has managed to get the red ON TOP of the cuschion

                        • Davis v Dott has just started!

Swail looks set for a 3-1 victory.

                          • A 103 and a 97 clearance from Higgins! 2-0 against Doherty.

Davis is also 2-0 up. But Dott looks like he'd be whitewashed by PIOS tour player at the moment.

True and some of the shots he just played... strange
But Davis is playing rather well for his standards at the moment, seems far more fluent than usual (of course also not so much pressure here)

                              • Davis looked very fine indeed, especially the long pots.

But dear me, Matthew Stevens' form is worrying. I can't see him getting back to the top16.
