  • Championship League 2009 - How to get tickets?

    Greetings, everyone.

Does anyone know how one can get tickets for Championship League Snooker matches at the Crondon Golf Club? Or does one just show up at the venue?

Thanks in advance for any replies!

    Best,

As far as I'm aware you can't visit as a spectator.

      Thanks.

Ok, Matt. Thanks. I actually expected that.

It's a pity. When the Matchroom League used to be played one could go watch the matches and it was a great atmosphere, and nobody would make any trouble. Snooker would benefit from opening these matches to the public, as not everyone can watch live streaming through the internet.

      Anyway, thanks a lot.

          Hi, Rocket.

Hardly...not the sessions I managed to catch on TV. I couldn't go this year as I'm recovering from an accident, but I have attended it quite a few times and can testify to the fact that The Masters has always had a very healthy attendance record. It says a lot for snooker, if you consider that it's one of the most expensive tournaments in the calendar, being in London. Snooker is far from dead, it's an addictive game--I have evidence of this as I've got quite a few friends of mine who had never ever even considered watching a match well into the groove in just one frame!

However, if there are ever fewer tournaments to attend, and the ones that do take place are ever more inaccessible, and the broadcasting of these is increasingly being given to stations that many of us cannot get through our digital tv services or is carried out strictly through the internet which, again, not everyone can view, many of us will soon see ourselves forced to stop making the effort!

Anyway, thanks for the replies. Speak to you sometime soon again.
