I have a 9hr drive from the farm regions of NSW, have to pay for fuel + accommodation + meals and I'm looking forward to being part of this for Australian Snooker. Not everything can happen on our door step. Yes Foxtel are showing this live to air I believe. Never before have we had most players (I heard Ronnie O'Sullivan pulled out due to neck & back problems) from the top 16 in one tournament in Australia.
Back in the 80's we had the Winfield Masters where top players would come out to play but the difference this time is it is not the off season. These fellas are playing for a purpose, ranking points.
