It was a great match. Much better then anything I saw at the World Cup. Though, I watched it on Sky Plus and it cacked up the show after. So unfortunately, half way through the deciding frame it cut off.

Still, really glad Dale went through.

Damn it! Sounds like I missed a dramatic end, to what was a dramatic match.

Got to fancy Selby or Williams to win it from here. Most likely the former.

I'm off to bendigo tomorrow for the night to watch the semi and finals. All the players i dreamed of meeting are basically gone. Unless robertson is sitting in the audience, but i highly doubt he would return to a snooker table after last nights match. Hopefully mark and selby go through. I'll be in a top hoody, boys if you see me, holla at me

What a great match that was, three centuries from Williams to win 5-4. It wasn't quite as dramatic as Robertson-Dale, but I think it's probably the highest quality match we've had so far this season.

Interesting to see Selby struggling against Doherty. It looks like Murphy and Williams will be the big names still in the tournament on the weekend.

Why they cant show second table???
Ken made an amazing clearance and won 5-3, I like Mark, but Im just so happy for Ken. Shame Dominic hasnt won it would have been an very interesting and funny semi. Well now I will root for Doherty-Bingham final p:

Watching the semi-final of Murphy-Bingham. Shaun really struggling today to string together any break at all, while Bingham missing frame balls and just missed a brown for the match...interesting.

Bingham finally falls over the line with the match ball hanging over the pocket!

                    6-2

Shaun has pot success of 82% in that match, that tells the story

According to Mike Smith, Bingham won the Wuxi Classic last year, coming back from 8-2 down against Ding in the final. He said it twice.

Great play from Williams in the first part of the match, it's going to be very difficult to stop him.

A good day of snooker, even though the matches were a bit one sided. But we have a final with two players playing their best, so I'm very much looking forward to it.

It's interesting, this would be Mark Williams' fourth ranking title outside of the UK in the last five years, while no other players has won more than one.

Well.... I wouldn't be so sure that Australian Open is already in Marks pocket. I just saw prediction contest (I'm still not allowed to write there ) and everyone predict that Mark Williams will win...
Maybe I'm wrong but I actually don't appreciate much Bingham play, its somehow .. unvisible.. BUT I saw all his matches on this tournament and he really surprise me this time. I tell you guys, Stuart playing role of his life now... maybe not good enough for Williams, but he is in very dangerous mode now. I think he could win.

Yeah, I noticed that. He actually said it originally about Shaun Murphy, then seemed to forget which player he was talking about and mentioned twice Bingham and done it.

I'm torn on this. I like Mark, and am glad he's back on form. For somebody who got several semis, and a UK championship final, I felt his haul last year was pretty disappointing. A PTC and the German Masters. He's obviously much improved, nearly back to his best. I'd love to see him win the first ranking tournament of the season.

However, you couldn't begrudge Bingham's day in the sun, considering he's never won a title before.
