Declan Hughes omitted from Bahrain Championship Qualifiers

According to the draws found on GSC and Worldsnooker, Declan Hughes is not playing in the qualifiers of the Bahrain Championship.

This creates a fourth 'bye' in the first qualifying round.
Does anyone know the reason for this?

is this the tournement that clashes with the premier league as well?

i ask because selby, higgins and ding are the three others missing but surely there is another league player who will be missing?

if declan hughes isnt involved then there should be 5 byes

what he does if he qualifies is possibly withdraw from the first Round Draw in bahrain
