Ok, I don't have a strong case here, but I am thinking about consistency. Davis has played much better this season, but his form goes up and down. Evryones form varies, but Davis has played on quite a different level in PL and ranking tournamets, hasn't he? It can't be all about his opponents, whitewash twice. He is a great player, expects to win as evry professional must , loves the game - but he is also fighting a losing battle against age. If he playes the best he can, then he stands a good chance to beat Fu or Dale.
