After reading Hendry's post match interviews etc, it seems clear that he really fancies his chances here in Bahrain. Hopefully he can deliver a great tourny victory and get back on the path tho a few more trophies. :-) Come on Hendry!!

You can see it in his eyes when playing, looks so focused.

Hope he takes one step at a time though, if he makes the semis and plays Stevens then that will be a close match I think. Stevens may have slipped down the rankings but in a semi-final in front of a big crowd, he'd be up for it and he knows how to beat Hendry.

Very true. The last time I felt this confident was probably Malta 2007 and that all went wrong in the quarters against Carter. Played Milkins in that tournament too as it happens.

To be perfectly fair to Hendry ... he got a food poisoning that time in Malta. Nobody is too clever in that state!

Stevens certainly does know how to beat Hendry. Only the Whirlwind and Ronnie aside from Stevens have beat him twice in the WC andc he beat him in a UK final as well.

I'm a Hendry fan as well, but the game against Stevens would worry more than either the quarters (obviously) or the final as even against Maguire or Allen, I'd fancy Hendry to win with his experience, and also against Maguire I'd think Hendry would be fired up.

Meanwhile, Lee and Hawkins lead 1-0 early on.

I'm so glad about Robert Milkins, he is such a great player. Has now a good chance to reach the semifinal against Hendry. We could have a surprise winer this saturday.

                    • Milkins will play a quarterfinal against Hendry

2-0 for Hawkins, tense 2nd frame between Lee and Robertson and no broadcast whatsoever

Worldsnooker site has just crashed. Whole.. as an exception to only live scoring, as the habit has it.
Robbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. He laughs in the face of those who spend hours on the practice table perfecting their cue ball control! ~ Forman
