God, as the picture on the World Snooker match report shows today, the crowd was actually pathetic for Stephen's match earlier. Hardly anyone there.

Perhaps the lack of crowd and the fact it's not majorly televised are playing into Hendry's favour and he doesn't feel so pressured.

Maguire vs. Robertson on, although it was stated otherwise.

I have been wondering why they would choose Hawkins vs. Allen over the other Quarterfinal?
Robbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. He laughs in the face of those who spend hours on the practice table perfecting their cue ball control! ~ Forman

Three centuries from the boy from Antrim! Super performance - although I watched it on live scoring and it did seem he missed a few as well, but I'd fancy him to beat Robertson. Maguire would be a big ask.

It is perhaps the performance of the week - as Hawkins is a solid player and to win convincingly like that with 3 tons and 2 other 40+ breaks is top notch. However, I still think Hendry is the player of the week - and of course I'm biased towards them both as they're my two favourites!

A little surprised Robertson won there - Back to Maguire's inconsistency discussed on another thread. The semis are well matched games I think. Hoping for a Stephen - Mark final and another classic like their crucible match.

Quality of play has gone up quite a few notches today - especially happy to see Hendry in the thick of it!

Does anyone know how Hendry + Stevens or Robertson + Allen have done head-to-head historically?

Or for that matter... does anyone know of any database where one could plug-in names and get that info?

Thanks... and may the best man win (Hendry).

In big matches, they have played once in the Masters which Hendry won 6-5.
Three times in the Worlds - Stephen winning only once convincingly 13-5 in 1999 and Stevens getting revenge winning 13-5 in 2001 and coming from behind to win 13-11 in 2005.
                The UK championship
1997 Stephen Hendry won 9-5 in the semis
                2003 In a classic final,Stevens nicked it 10-8
So, not much in it in majors, but Stevens has the edge lately.
If anyone can point out where head to head records can be easily picked up that would be good.

According to WS, Allen and Robertson have only played once - at the China Open last season where Mark won 5-2.
