  • Bahrain Champ - semi-final discussion!

Stephen Hendry v Matthew Stephens and Mark Allen v Neil Robertson. Hard to beat that lineup. Shame on those (Paul!) who said this was a second-rate tournament!

I will be glued to the TV tomorrow. Or actually not, as I have other things I must do, but I will set my recorder, that's for sure! And here's my contribution to tomorrow's discussions:

    COME ON STEPHEN!!!!

Would've been great to see both Stevens and Hendry in the final but the prospect of an Allen v Hendry final is pretty good. This tournament has been absolutly brilliant especially seeing a lot of players coming back into form.

Yes with all the surprises and players coming back to form I haven´t really missed the players who isn´t there. I think I prefer a Hendry - Robertson final, but for once I like all four players and are very satisfied to see them all back in business.

It has been an intriguing, refreshing tournament thus far, that has thrown up a sizeable amount of surprises. The fact that 3 of the players are playing themselves back into a vein of form gives it an added air of romance.

However, I can't help feeling that the matches lack a certain atmosphere. Lack of crowds, and the poor execution of TV coverage to name a couple of probable factors.

The Grand Prix last month had a noticeably electric feel throughout most of the matches and so far this event has fallen slightly short in this respect I believe.

                  I guess I'll go for the 2nd.
                  Go Stephen!

I´ve just made some counting in the predictions. So far Hendry is a solid favorit with 38 of 50 predictions leaving 12 votes for Stevens, while the forum members are practicly split when it comes to the Allen - Robertson match.
26 believes in Allen and 24 in Robertson.

lol, I'm not saying I'm obssessed with Stephen, but if he had a space in his entourage for a groupie then I would be there.
