It has alredy been mentioned couple of times, but yes. Good old Europe would be a much better choice. I cannot image that had this been hosted in Germany the attendance would be worse. I simply cannot.Robbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. I normally dont like criticizing refs, but has been saying this for a while now. Whenever he refs a match we keep our bums squeezed, no one gets a foul and a miss and a respot of the balls. its gruesome.

Matthew has been very inconsistent in this final but he's potting ability is incredible. Tremendous technique.
Also he could get some lessons with Ronnie on how to split the reads because he seems to always have nothing left after doing it. It's not only bad luck.Comment

Starting to fancy Stevens' chances here, despite looking second best all day, Robertson is starting to look...edgy? Impatient? I dunno. Still relatively early days though, I just wonder whether Robertson is going to pay for not hammering home his advantage this afternoon.sigpic

Robertson makes it 6-5, he really needed that the way it was going. Stevens had a half-chance earlier in the frame but when trying to play a red in the middle of the pack, caught the pink first and never really got another great opportunity.sigpic

Nice long potting,best so far this season? I haven't been able to follow most of the matches this season, so I really don't know about long potting. All in all it's nice to see players return to form. No atmosphere though, in midsession last years UK final was something to compare this. Wonder what it will be in the end? A couple of cautious aplauds
