    A brilliant day of snooker.

Maflin missed a great chance today, but he was put under pressure after missing that blue. He could have done with some good safety though, rather than going for everything.

Perry had Murphy in trouble as well, but played quite poorly towards the end.

And my wish hasn't come through, no Murphy-Dott in the 2nd round. But it will be equally interesting to see how well Li can play against Murphy.

I hope this wildcard gonna continue showing sharp teeth and catch-out Mr Murph unprepared

Any comments on Lee's play to defeat Williams, I heard he lost with 4 century breaks. Lee must have been playing very cautious with a start by williams like that.
I try hard, play hard and dont always succeed, at first.!!!!:snooker:

Lee took all the scrappy frames. His safety was brillliant and he made a superb clearance in the decider. One could say Williams was a bit unlucky on couple of occasions, especially in the last frame when he made a good shot to disturb two reds on the top cushion but neither of them left on, at the moment he only needed one red and any color to leave Lee needing snookers. It wasn't meant to be. After a short safety exchange, he left a chance to Stephen which he took with a phenomenal fashion if you ask me. That's one of the best clearances I've seen.
