Meanwhile, Gerard Greene makes a terrific clearance of 60, from 0-53 behind to win 5-2.

How unlucky is Stephen Lee? Always gets best players at the venues.
and he was very unlucky with that cannon

              WHAT A MATCH!!!
Williams made 4 centuries and Lee still won. Big breaks, drama and clearance in the decider. Can you wish more?

He couldn't have been more lucky on the table. Played a poor shot on the 3rd last red which forced him to get the most natural possible angle on the black to open the last 2 reds. It's sad that a great match has ended up like this.

Maybe the best match of the season so far Williams v Lee. I can't believe that Mark lost it but Lee played very well to clear the table.

                  Well played, Stephen!

Well, what a wonderful match that was. Awesome clearence by Stephen to win this match. I think Mark can´t be angry or so, because his opponent played that good. But it is sad to make 4 centuries in best of nine and be out however :-) Can´t wait to see Mark dominate this year WCH :-)

Lol come on dont get ridicilous. That was a fabulous clearance and position was very diffucult and so much pressure, and to pot that black wasnt easy aswell. Full credit to Stephen Lee.

Probably the best best-of-9 match since I've been watching snooker, and certainly one of the best matches of the season. As if winning 5-4 when you opponent made 4 centuries wasn't enough, Lee also made one of the best clearances I've ever seen to win from behind in the decider.

i tuned in and saw only the last frame, with excitement to see MJW's winning at first, and a heavy heart seeing his lost at last.Damn!
                            However,it's a great match,S.Lee did a really good job.

That is the way Stephen Lee used to play, fluent and flowing snooker. Over the years he got bogged down and was a shadow of the player we saw there. There was no hesitancy or indecision today, just fluent snooker, the style he should have been playing all the time. You can actually enjoy watching him instead of wanting to throw something at the TV and shouting at him to play a damn shot.

He gets the prize for the best loser ever!

Adding that to Stevens lowest points ever record in a best-of-9 match, ain't that the happiest start of the tournament for you?

Seems like all the signs point that Ronnie is destined to win
