A lot of people have said Ronnie will throw in the towel when Ding went out. It seems to be true. Does he really think of Ding as the only worthy opponent in the playing field?
Well, a little bit too early to conclude that, but if he keeps playing like this and won't improve his long potting, he'll fly home right after the match with Fu.
and regarding the question - I don't think he thinks of other players being more or less worthy, but maybe Ding seems more interesting to play against for Ronnie?
He seems to get bored when playing lesser opponents, in general. This is why he enjoyed playing Higgins so much in the year Higgins trounced him at the Grand Prix with 4 centuries. And he has extremely high expectations of himself, so when he doesn't play to perfection, he gets disappointed and bored.
