Rite. Here we go:
Robertson - Holtie 0-1 (with a break of 88)
Dott v Wattana 1-0
Mon John!
No, I'm not obsessing over snooker, sitting here in the early morn, having my coffee, far too many fags and watching some numbers moving on my screen.Das war ein FLUKE! Ein Glückstreffer!

Even if I'm not too happy with what is going on at the moment, I must say that watching Brit Eurosport is a lot better than watching the Norwegian / German ones!
Robertson v Holt 1-1
Re-racking in the Hendry/Fu match.
And mid-session for Dott and Wattana at 3-1
Aaaand Higgins v McCulloch 1-1Das war ein FLUKE! Ein Glückstreffer!

That must be a record surely. I'm sure that never happened even in the days of Canadian Domination.
Candian domination is pushing it a little. They ha some good players, but I'll guess there were never more than half a dozen in the last 32 of a tournament...
Also, factor in the fact that these guys received wildcards and therefore only had to win 1 game, at home, against guys who have travelled half the way around the world, and it becomes less surprising.
Still, a good sign for the way forward, I don't think it will be too long before we have two qualifying schools for the Professional tour, one in Europe and one in Asia. At that point the snooker world will truly open up to something approaching its full potential
