I thought he "only" needed to get to the semis at the Crucible?

Well becuase of most of the players above him have gone the same distance or now even further than im (Cope, Hawkins and Fu) it looks like he will be 3000 points off the last place. So maybe a semi final could do it but it depends on how Cope, Hawkins and Fu do in this tournament.
