There is an office chinese home page for China open, the link is:

However, the website is in Chinese, and no English version at all. But, you can follow this link for the video coverage for the live match (two live coverage channels):

http://sports.sina.com.cn/z/snookerchn07/videolive.html

In the URL, you can watch record of completed matches as well, but you do need understand the chinese to select the match.

PS: Beijing local time is UK time + 7 hours because of the summer time in Europe.

Another TV coverage is Chinese sport TV channel CCTV5, you can watch it with sopcast web TV (need install a software sopcast first)

I've actually been at it for a while, trying to get the link to work, but no such luck, neither in Firefox nor in Windows Exploder. Do I have to have something fancy and flashy installed in order for it to work?

The link works for me, but very slow, infact it's so slow that I can only see the score... As to cctv5, they are showing diving again I think, will go back to snooker at 7:30pm local time

I use IE 7.0, and it works for me without any additional setting, the speed is ok, but no voice. No sure what you need to install for watch it.

Maybe check with CCTV5 with sopcast? the quality should be better (i used that one very often).

And NB! Either the Sopcast or the thingie needed to play the vids over at the Sina site installed some spyware on my 'puter, so I had to let those two go.
