its much more important Marco Fu winning his first round match rather than Dott winning the tournament IMO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!
Have I then understood you gentlemen right in that you want Dott to effectively throw the final match against Cope tomorrow, to better preserve his chances in Sheffield?
Or should he have lost to any of the other players he has won against?
This is silly. If you're on form, you're on form, and you'd better take those chances.
I've just got a quick little question here: who on earth feels that I have attacked the freedom of speech in my last post?! And HOW? I thought that discussion forums online were about stating different opinions and maybe even possibly at some point reach a common ground and conclusion, but I might be far off there. Answer pr PM'd be appreciated. And, as an afterthough: At least have the balls to sign when repping.
Aah, the joys of internet forums.
Let' s say you are a little possessive Maija and don't forget "Read, process, answer", told you so before
I agree with Maija, purposefully not winning a tournament because you might win the next one is stupid. Win everything you can is my opinion.
Friends, I think you're all getting carried away. PaulTheSoave's original post was merely a light hearted humourous comment.
Of course he doesn't really expect Dott to throw the final!
"And slowly and surely they drew their plans against us"

All I think Paul is saying is that for the last 8 years the winner of the penultamate event does poor at the WC. Therefore in theory if Dott wants to win the WC he shouldn't win this event because of this jynx. Its just a theory, its not as if this is going to happen because if Dott did lose on purpose due to this he would be incredibly stupid.

Ah Well, another snooker connaisseur! Spot on Sir!
I am all for women liberation, but the last few (female) posts have set me back a couple of centuries!
