  • Great maximum!
    Now, Day fights back...

This is the first time in nearly a year that I watch snooker WITH commentary, it feels really odd

Hehe, I know what you mean there!

Oh dear, that was an appalling breakoff from Mags, leaving a red on to the middle for Day, and now he's on a break, having split the pack and pulled off a nice little plant. I hope Mags hasn't entirely lost the plot! Not that I'd mind it if Day won, but I want this match to go to a decider!

Edit: It's hardly going to go to a decider if Mags keeps on leaving easy reds for Ryan. I'm not saying that Ryan's not playing well, he is indeed, but is this the good old "147 curse" for Mags?

      • good morning

ryan is not looking too bad out there.
great maximum stuff from mags earlier. but now he seems to have lost the momentum a bit, doesn't he... playing the difficult shots a little akward, safetys aren't to strong either.

        • Great stuff. Maguire needs to get his concentration back or he'll be out. Can't be easy having made the 147, but it will be a good test for him.

Great to be able to watch now that I'm not at work.

                  • Please let Selby beat Murphy, I don't want to watch another Murphy - Maguire match.

                    • I enjoyed it a whole lot - it certainly was a nice experience, watching a decider and not being overly fussed either way. I hope some Chinese recording of the match will appear somewhere, it is one to re-watch on a rainy, boring evening.

A Mags v Murf final would be very interesting imho. Not too keen on Selbs, to be honest, though the two are both in great form right now, so it could be snookery fireworks.

So what. I think it will be a more atacking game, if Selby will not make the final. The truth is today can be anybody's game, and that will be the case tomorrow, also.
