    It's a ranking final, so they're hardly likely to try to pot everything and anything. A bit of caution is well advised, and they're both old enough in the game to know that. None of them are directly negative, just not going for any ol' ball that they might see a snick of, that's all. (I still think it's more attacking than it would have been, had that been Selby instead of Murphy.)

      I was hoping for more fluency in their game, like winning frames from one visit at the table...but in the last 2 frames they did just that

          It's probably going to be a "one for you one for me" affair. Hopefully a good game.

                      Nah, he doesn't have the Welsh lilt. Matthew Syed I think it is. Not that I've heard about him before, but Google has.

                      The second sesh starts at 15.10 (14.10 UK time), so with Murf getting that one frame before the break, we still have a match on. Mags has been playing ever so lovely, though. I'm pleased, and I'm off for a nap.
