I can't see Ronnie treating the UK press like that. I'm tempted to use his own words against him.

If he likes his exhibition style snooker that much and treats the (foreign) press with such disrespect, why not just quit snooker? Play exhibitions and leave the game to the ones who are actually interested.

Why should anyone bother respecting someone who treats other people like that? Meh. Must be hard being at the centre of the universe.

My internet explorer wouldn't load it. But with FireFox is fine.

People love him over there and cheered for him the whole game and he behaves like that... something must be seriously wrong with him.

Twenty or so years ago, a certain Mr A Higgins had the book thrown at him by the governing bodies. Fortunately, he was big enough to come through it, and he hardly lost too many of his adoring fans.

The sport needed him so it could flourish. Nowadays I'm not so sure the sport needs Ronnie.

How anyone can like him is beyond me, unless of course you have several ASBO'S.

im not a fan of banning anyone, but theres a time and a place for schoolboy humour and no matter his illness he knows that. i wouldnt imagine him asking someone at a uk press conference to suck his ****. totally out of order. that is someones mum/daughter your speaking to like that in front of the press. disgrace!

She looked quite happy last time I saw her (in Telford)

Dear o dear, I have not seen it yet (no time, at work) but looks all time low here.

I have searched a few media (bbc), but they have not picked up on it yet. Anyone else know of other media comments?

Ron's behaviour can't be tolerated, and, like Monique, I think he needs serious help.

But what you do, my dear janverhaas, is not far from what he did.
                          Hi from an ASBO

I would like to see his reaction if someone said the same thing to a female member of his family! He is from the gutter.

                              indeed

ok weve all heard that sort of stuff as banter, and maybe even had a little joke at it as long as nobody is being offended, but to do it at a press conference, half muttering, while knowing not many would understand or pick up exactly what was being said is IMO not called for

Firstly, before anyone starts accusing me of having ASBO's because i'm a Ronnie fan i will admit i am a Ronnie fan, I also like watching Shaun Murphy play as i do any player that who has a great talent (I'm i also a christian freek because i like Shaun?). Oh, and i don't have any ASBO's

I watched the interview and i must admit i was very bored watching it, how would you feel sitting there for 7 minutes not understanding a word of chinese and then when you do understand something it is a question asking why did you seem to not care and why didn't you play better.....

He was amusing himself with whoever was beside him (does anyone know who that was?) but he did answer every question without being rude and with honesty.

Nothing wrong with having some jokey chat with his mate, just a shame he didn't bother to think about the fact that he would be heard...
