ROS is the most gifted player in snooker and, in terms of talent he can be compared to Woods, Federer or Schumacher. I wonder if any of you who are trying to defend him, ever heard such words from those three mentioned above ? I think not. And i believe that they were similar to ROS in terms of money and social status.
Such words can be heard from a person like Mike Tyson and i think Ronnie's character is more like Tyson's than Woods's or Federer's.

ROS is a professional snooker player, he earns his money playing snooker, he is snooker's image in China and by behaving like that he is mocking the sport that made him rich and famous.

Of course we still defend him in general , no problem with that. He had one of his bad days. The WSA will judge him. The non Osullivan are making an overkill of this, of course. We all said how bad it was, we crucified him several times, but life will continue ...let's wait and see how ROs himself will deal with this

However, isnt it a bit ironic that many of his supporters (me amongst them) seem to care more about whether he wins or looses, and his 'public image', than he does himself.

Those people who had been Davis fans in the eighties, or Hendry fans in the nineties must have had a very smooth and happy ride, not like the rollercoaster ride Ronnie gives his supporters.

Taking some of his ranking points is nonsense as he didn't cheat - or something like that - while he was playing, so he deserved all the points he won.
