And you seem to be even more attention seaking than Ronnie, lol.
And before you say it: NO, I'm not a fan of Ronnie, what he did was rude and unacceptable and what that media-guy next to him did by participatig (laughing away like a little boy instead of trying to stop Ronnie from making an a*** of himself) was pathetic.
And I don't for one second believe that Ronnie didn't know he was being recorded....after all, it was a press conference, and you'd have to be pretty thick not to realise that there would be cameras/mics recording everything.
As for punishment? I don't think a fine is enough, there should be a ban from one tournament too. However, I don't see the WSA banning Ronnie, cause as much as I hate to admit it, he is the biggest name they've got right now (as far as reaching new audiences go anyway) and they wouldn't want to shoot themselves in the foot.

must be down to good timing Frame thats all, and no i dont know you the same way that you dont know anything about me and that is something that you should bare in mind the same way as i do. You dont know anyone else on here either but you constantly put them down and arnt prepared to listen to anyone else's views. Im even open minded with yourself after every thing that you have said and am more than willing to listen and take on board a decent debate from you. Me being me im always prepared also to draw a line under everything and get to know someone who has made an ass of themselves and give them time to show me differant.

Im not going to spend much time deffending my private life from you as i know how happy i am and what a good life i have with as many ups and downs as anyone else has in their own. I wouldnt say anything similar to what you have either about your life as i think that just shows you up for the person you are and that is the big differance between you and a lot of people on here.

IMO It would be reasonably fair, if slightly lenient to dock him the ranking points and earnings he earnt during that tournament.

If he was to be docked more money or more importantly, ranking points than he earnt there, I hope they wouldnt go so far as to dock so many that he could loose his number one spot. That would be way too harsh IMO, as he has earnt that fair and square.

If he was to be banned from China i imagine that would suit him perfectly !

I guess the last thing the wpbsa really want to do is ban him.

On a serious note you say banning him would be in no one's interest. It would however be in the interest of the sport's integrity which is far more important. Ronnie won't be around for much longer so the sport has to carry on regardless. No player is bigger than the game.

I am saying if he had spoken to someone like that in the street in China he would have been sent to prison. I am not defending China's record on human rights just stating the fact that an English tourist speaking like that wouldn't have got away with it.

Frame this is real life, the comments you put up are real and people reading them is real. I dont take offence at all about the things you put up about myself but i do when you have a go at everyone else. Perhaps that is the problem that you believe you live in some pretend world, well believe me everyone you post comments to are very real with very real feelings. If you dont mean anything you say then let us know so we can understand the rubbish you type.

You dont have to tell me about real pain as i deal with the worst kind of pain that there is in the real world day in day out 7 days a week which often gets into the news. and although snooker is a little bit of what i do sometimes, It offers a very welcome break for me where i can relax and use what i know in another way. Ive also picked up a few useful skills along the way which is to do with being non-judgemental, patient and understanding which are skills that everyone needs nowadays to get a decent job.

If you had read anything from here and other forums that i have put you would have noticed that i have at times been harsh on o'sullivan and in fact Frame i have far more reasons than you will ever possibly have to be upset with Ronnies behaviour but because i know that the good side of him far out weighs the bad im fine with it, so if i cant get upset with him im struck dumb trying to work out what your so fed up with.

And to add what i think his punishment should be, i think he should be fined a lot more than what he was last time at around 50k and banned from the first ranking Tournament of the season, i did think of taking ranking points away so that he wasnt number 1 but this would impact on other players far to much.

I must admit I dislike Ronnie. However, I blame world snooker for not dealing with him. A fine simply won't make a jot of difference. He will probably make money on the back of the China press conference. I think he should be banned and banned from tournaments he wants to participate in, ie UK, Masters, Worlds, etc. I think nothing will be done as usual and the issue swept under the carpet.

A dangerous precedent has been set. What happens now if a player ranked 60 in the world starts behaving in a similar fashion. Is he going to be left unpunished?

Pfff easy words - Snooker , quite dull compared to football for example, needs players like OSullivan. And what he said in China is wrong and perhaps a crime to the old fashioned tradition of snooker. I agree to punish him but the punishment should not be 'snooker related' as he didn't steal any ranking points or any titled he played for. So this is really overdone, worst things happened in sport than this. Much ado about nothing after all.
