I caught some of the tournament on TVUPlayer last night starting at 23:30 Pacific Daylight Time (that's 08:30 GMT.. I think).
Does anyone know how long the feed from the Beijing Open runs? While I was watching they only covered one match... do they switch around occaisionally?
thanks for tolerating a newbie question
Don
PS will there be a similar internet TV feed for the World's at Sheffield?
DonM, there are two Chinese sports channels you can get via TVU - CCTV5 and ShanghaiSports. Normally they show the whole matches from the beginning till they finish, and if their schedule is to be believed - they'll keep doing it till the end of the week.
There are two TV tables at this tournament. Normally CCTV5 will show one table and ShanghaiSports the other. But when Ding played his match and yesterday when Ronnie was playing, it was on both channels.
If this is the case, you can watch the other match that is on TV table here http://sports.sina.com.cn/z/snookerchn09video/
When the matches start, on this page there will be a black screen, and on the left - two arrows on pink background. You press an arrow - it starts showing one table. If you want to switch tables - press the other arrow. The stream goes ok, but it doesn't have sound.
I don't know if Chinese channels show World Championships, but I'm sure there will be streams from Eurosport and BBC available when the time comes.
Hope it helps
