Yes maybe, but i wouldn't be surprised if Milkins does get through that he could also beat Hendry too! Who would've thought Milkins would be leading Wenbo as he is.

Um..I'm trying to think. Is this the best China Open so far for the Chinese Wildcards or has there been another occassion where almost all the Wildcards got through?

The 2007 China Open had 5 out of 8 wild cards come through. All of them went out in the next round though.
That's 5 out of 7 then, 5 out of 8 if you count Liang's match as well. And Cao Xinlong got through without a match obviously. That means there are 7 Chinese players in the last 32, with 2 guaranteed in the top16 because they're playing between themselves. Tang and Yu have a reasonable chance of beating Ebdon and Dott, the only real outsider is Cao, but we haven't seen him play yet.
So that makes it 7 Chinese players in the last 32. Shame Liang Wenbo can't make it 8. And I've just noticed that someone has already pointed that out. *slaps self*

Im gutted Trump and Holty went out. To me it says that there is plenty of unheard of potential out there that we will know about in the next 2-3 years what dya reckon..
