Trump is showing as 30th on world snooker's provisional list. The likes of Bond will already have earned quite a few points for qualifying for Sheffield which have yet to be added. Chances are at least one of those currently below Trump will overtake him IMO.

He may just hang on in 31st or 32n place if he's lucky.

I'm using the list that already takes into account World Championship points. Remember that although Judd failed to qualify, he did win his opening match so by losing to Lee he only lost 500 points.

See here for the really up to date list.

Nigel is one win away from overtaking him but everyone else needs at least two wins.

And that´s the closest we can get to the final result at the end of the year. Four of the players below him shall produce some extraordinary results if he shall end outside top 32. And no. 33 - 35 are already out.

Indeed. If Anthony Hamilton loses to John Higgins tomorrow then by my reckoning Rory McLeod would need to make the world final or something to displace Trump

Dave Harold leads Stephen Maguire 3-0. Maguire looking out of sorts, but Harold had a nice fluke in that frame.

Yes who would've thought both Scots would be 3-0 down.
