How many points does a professional get if he loses the wild card match?

im not sure but i would think its the same as losing in the first round, would seem kind of unfair if its less, considering the wildcard players arent acually members of the tour

Judd still a frame behind at 2-3. Think he will turn it round though.

Could be a lot of things... anti-climax after last week glory, pressure of expectations, over-confidence at start of the match, jet-lag, bad day in office...

But that's the first BIG shock.

wow, that was some pretty poor snooker from trump.
well done to Tang Jun, i liked how excited he looked when he potted that last black, i think he thought he'd blown it after that green to brown.

I think it was complacency from Trump. He was taking too many risks from the start.

Good entertainment for the first match of the event. Tang was pretty decent, he might have a shot at beating Ebdon.

Unfortunate for Judd but I hope Tang will become the next Chinese player to make it big!

He didn't look particularly youthful though, and if he was that good I wonder why it's taken so long for him to be given a wildcard in one of these tournaments.

Surprising result indeed. I think he probably struggled with the conditions more than anything else. Anyone know how old Tang is?

so whos everyone picking in the wenbo vs milkins match?

I'd like to see wenbo win but i think milkins could give him some trouble if hes not on his game.

On recent form, I doubt if Milkins will be able to punish Wenbo very severely if some of his (Wenbo's) risky shots fail to come off. (I think Wenbo will know this, so will be very confident, and even less likely to miss)

IMO thats the only way Wenbo will loose - by his opponent taking advantage if and when wenbo misses his risky shots.

If Wenbo's risky shots do come off it could easily be 5-0 to Wenbo.
