Great break from Higgins in the ninth, perhaps that will restore some of his confidence? Both players missed quite a lot at times, but the defensive game was good.
Good to see Ebdon on the big stage again, he made some funny things only he would do, like the jumping up and down or the one handed shot. How anyone can call him boring is beyond me.

I agree. I never understood why people call him Cyborg or boring. The guy has cried live on TV when being confronted for his slow play/irregular betting patterns etc. He has a lot of emotion. Now I really hope Ebdon can make this year his second World Champion!

For once i agree with you Hegeland.
Even if his snooker doesnt always inspire his off table antics usually entertain.
I wonder what further 'theatrics' we might get from him today, whether he wins or looses.
I hope he doesnt get all emotional today though if he goes onto win it, as that would be a bit OTT for 'just' The China Open.
"You can shove your snooker up your jacksie 'cos I aint playing no more!" Alex Higgins.
Does anyone know the current head 2 head between them. I recall about 5 years ago it was 11-6 to ebdon. It is good to see him doing well. IMO snookers best current character.
