Here is the complete draw including the Last 32 stage
    http://www.globalsnookercentre.co.uk...-open-draw.htm

I am assuming there will be a wildcard round. We'll add that to the draw when we have more information

and look - Ronnie due to play Ding in the last 16, if they both get through.

For once Carter and Perry isnĀ“t in ROS part of the draw.

And a Wenbo Swail match is underway again.

Very true! I'm hoping Williams does well in China.

Any thoughts on how Jimmy (White) is going to fare? Li Hang coming up in the first round for him - then possible matches against Gould, Higginson and O'Brien - not the thoughest of draws (?)...
Beijing would then present him with ROS though

Williams normally performs well in China so hopefully he will make a good showing.

There's no broadcasting of the qualifying rounds

One match from round 3 is held over to China and that match will be broadcast.

We'd love to stream some of the matches but we're not allowed to.

They should hold over Jin Long's match, now that he's made it all the way to the final qualifying round. He maybe doesn't have much of a profile in China though, since he's never played on TV.

I don't like how Marco Fu always seems to have a tough draw in tournaments, often being apart of the O'Sullivan, Higgins, Perry, Ding lot during the earlier rounds. I know he has a good record against O'Sullivan and Higgins but still, I find it quite unfair.

Thats because he wasnt in the top 8 at the start of the season. I think that a player ranked 9-16 will always have to play a top 8 player in the last 16 round (if they both get through to that round).

Its the same for everyone. The only way he can avoid it is to become top 8 himself, then he would play a 9-16 player in the last 16 if theyd both got through.

Looks like Doherty will never see the China Open being whitewashed by Trump 5-0

Here's hoping for a Top 8 place for next season

And Trump could face Ebdon next, providing both beat any wildcards they may have to play. Trump may well be in better form than Ebdon at the moment and could consolidate his top 32 spot with another victory in the last 32. He may then face Maguire in the last 16, who would probably be a wall to high for Trump to climb over, but it'd be an interesting match to watch and good experience for Trump to play a top 4 player other than Ronnie.

I see the other China Open qualifiers thread got buried.. It's a shame there's such little interest on the board about qualifying events, but maybe this thread will be more succesful.

After Ken, Steve Davis is out as well, he lost against Stuart Pettman. Stevens is in a bit of trouble against Lawler, and Lee is having to fight hard against Jin Long. Nice to see Nigel Bond winning a match.
